Author – Porthault: The Art of Luxury Linens
Brian D. Coleman, M.D. is a practicing psychiatrist in Seattle, Washington. Also an old house enthusiast, he has grown his love for restoration and design into an active second career. He is the Editor-at-large for Arts and Crafts Homes and Old House Journal magazines and has written numerous articles on home design. Brian is the author of twenty books including Farrow & Ball: The Art of Color, Scalamandre, and Fortuny among others and most recently D.Porthault: The Art of Luxury Linens. Brian divides his time between Seattle and New York.
